Sustained Publishing Growth Strengthens Digital Journal Philippines’ Contribution to Philippine Scholarship

Makati City, Philippines – The first ten months of 2026 marked another period of steady growth for scholarly publishing at Digital Journal Philippines (DJP), reflecting the continued trust and support of researchers, educators, graduate students, and academic professionals who have chosen our platforms to disseminate their work. As of October 31, 2026 (Table 1), our publishing ecosystem has grown to encompass 977 authors, 413 published articles, 40 volumes, and 6 specialized journals, illustrating the expanding reach of the research communities we serve. More than indicators of organizational growth, these milestones represent the collective contributions of scholars committed to advancing knowledge, fostering innovation, and generating evidence-based insights that address educational, social, technological, and industry-related challenges.
For almost three years, we have continuously strengthened our journal portfolio to accommodate the diverse publication needs of researchers across multiple disciplines. Through our specialized journals, we have created dedicated venues for educational research, social sciences, technology and innovation, business and entrepreneurship, maritime studies, robotics and mechatronics, and other related fields. Our six-journal ecosystem reflects our mission to provide accessible and discipline-focused publication opportunities while maintaining rigorous peer-review and editorial standards. This sustained expansion has enabled us to support a growing number of scholarly works and contribute meaningfully to the dissemination of knowledge generated by Filipino and international researchers.
The increasing number of publications across our journals highlights the growing reach and relevance of our scholarly platforms. As shown in Figure 1, Pedagogy Review journal has emerged as the largest publication outlet with 137 published articles (33.2%), underscoring the strong demand for research in education and learning. This is followed by Business Fora journal, which has published 95 articles (23%), and Social Science Lens journal, which has recorded 93 published articles (22.5%), reflecting robust scholarly engagement in the fields of social sciences, business, entrepreneurship, and organizational development. Technologique journal, on the other hand, has published 61 articles (14.8%), demonstrating increasing interest in technological developments and scientific innovation.
Meanwhile, Ocean Life journal has contributed 19 articles (4.6%), supporting research in marine and environmental studies while the newly launched Techmecha Robosphere journal has already published 8 articles (1.9%), demonstrating promising early growth in robotics, mechanical systems, and emerging engineering disciplines. These publication figures illustrate how our journals have evolved into active scholarly channels that facilitate the exchange of ideas, research findings, and solutions to contemporary societal and industry challenges.
Beyond publication volume, these milestones affirm the trust that authors place in our editorial processes and our dedication to maintaining quality, accessibility, and visibility in scholarly publishing. Each manuscript entrusted to us contributes to a broader mission of nurturing research culture, advancing professional practice, and strengthening the evidence base that informs education, governance, industry, and community development. As our collection of articles and volumes continues to grow, so too does our responsibility to uphold the highest standards of academic integrity and editorial excellence.
With the above milestones, we view these not as an endpoint but as an inspiration to pursue greater impact in the years ahead. We remain steadfast in our commitment to fostering a vibrant scholarly ecosystem that empowers researchers, expands access to knowledge, and elevates the global visibility of Philippine scholarship.
