An endless propagation to empower humanity
VMC Analytiks is again pleased in achieving another milestone as its six curated journals are now catalogued by University of California (UC) Berkeley library. Research articles published in Pedagogy Review journal (with focus in education), Social Science Lens journal (psychology, sociology, political science, anthropology, humanities), Technologique journal (technology and innovation), Business Fora journal (finance, management, human resource, hospitality, food and culinary) and Ocean Life journal (all maritime-related topics) can now be accessed using the UC Berkeley library website (https://www.lib.berkeley.edu/).
As cataloguing is somewhat akin to indexing – a complete enumeration of items arranged systematically and organized by discipline, subject, or type of publication with descriptive details pulled together for a purpose (Merriam-Webster, n.d.; Walden University, n.d.) – the former is a step higher than just listing as (Walden, n.d.) journals included in an index are considered of higher quality than journals that are not. This is because journals have to go through a vetting process to be included, or indexed, in reputable bibliographic databases. Being catalogued by UC Berkeley library is therefore a testament to our exhaustive curation of research articles making it a point that each published paper featured in our various journals are within scholarly standards. Earning UC Berkeley’s trust is more than what we have aimed for, thus, this inspires us to continuously nurture each paper submitted for publication.
Last September 2024, VMC Analytiks journals were initially catalogued by HOLLIS Harvard University library. With barely seven months of existence in the research publication industry, we only have more than fifty research articles published by then. Yet, we earned the trust and respect of Harvard University cataloguing almost all of our published papers.
Besides the above cataloguing, VMC Analytiks journals are presently indexed by the following international indexing bodies: Crossref (Massachusetts, USA), Semantic Scholar (Seattle, USA), and Research Gate (Germany). Our journals are likewise licensed by Creative Commons (California, USA). We also generate ORCID number for authors.
On the national level, we are accredited by the Philippine National Library through the issuance of International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) and by the National Book Development Board (NBDB) of the Philippines.
